January 2009 Books: rather crime-heavy this month Anne Marshall Zwack, The Diplomatic Corpse – pleasant but slight Jonathan Kellerman, Bones – a definite return to form, I found this engrossing Kat Martin, Heartless – extremely inaccurate historically Peter Robinson, All The Colours Of Darkness – pretty good Karen Rose, I’m Watching You – generic but an OK read Simon Kernick, Deadline Lynwood Barclay, No Time For Goodbye – pretty good, although there were a couple of rather unlikely coincidences Julia Quinn, The Lost Duke Of Wyndham – pleasant enough Jennifer Donnelly, A Gathering Light – pretty good
CDs Donna Ulisse, Walk This Mountain Down – good but not ground breaking
